A great smoothie starts with great ingredients. We source most of ours from Australian farmers and use individually quick frozen fruit and veg to help preserve their quality. From the farm to our facility to your freezer, good food is at the heart of every pack.

Farm to your table

The vast majority of our ingredients come from Australian farmers. We put flavour, ripeness and the quality of the crop first, with ingredients sourced overseas only where local supply is not available.

Our farm-to-table philosophy is simple: start with good produce, handle it with care, and let the ingredients do the work. Freezing helps us make those harvests part of your daily routine, ready to blend when you are.

Why we flash freeze

IQF means individually quick frozen: each piece of fruit or veg is frozen separately, so it stays easy to portion. Fast freezing forms smaller ice crystals than slow freezing, helping protect the food's structure.

Frozen produce can retain more of some nutrients than fresh produce kept in the fridge. A two-year study compared vitamin C, beta-carotene and folate in eight fruits and vegetables, including fresh produce stored for five days: most results were similar, but where they differed, frozen came out ahead of stored fresh more often.

The benefit depends on the food, processing and storage. A second study found similar or higher levels of several vitamins in frozen produce, but lower beta-carotene in some foods. Freezing preserves nutrients; it does not make every food healthier.
